Stop Kiss is a heartbreakingly beautiful love story about Callie, a young traffic reporter feeling stuck in life, meeting Sara, a passionate school teacher. When Sara’s new apartment bans pets, and she is forced to give up her beloved cat, Caesar, to Callie, they form a very close bond, which grows into something more. The pair become a victim to a vicious hate crime (not shown on stage). Sara ends up in a coma. The play splinters out of chronological order, exploring the before and after of the attack. Matters are complicated by the reaction of friends and the community at large.
