Racquel Wilder, OWNER
Racquel began owning venues over 20 years ago and hasn’t stopped since her first one! She loves having theatres and studios available for the community where artists and other creatives can go to work on their material. Racquel is also a top producing realtor in the Los Angeles area and loves working with her theatre clients of of over two decades to help them buy/sell and invest.
Amber Bruegel - Venue Managing Director
Amber has been working for Theatre Planners for over 10 years. She started as an assistant stage manager transitioning to the front of house coordinator and ultimately worked her way up to the Managing Director of Venues running the day to day operations all 4 locations with 12 separate spaces.
Amber loves assisting productions in finding the right space for their show. As well as sharing helpful tips and tricks along the rental journey. She has 4 degrees, 3 in Theatre Arts and 1 in Business Management. In her free time, she is likes to spend time traveling with her family.

Our Story
Racquel and Amber have been working together for over 10 years. Racquel mentored Amber from working on one of the Theatre Planners productions to running all the venues today. They both love working together and bringing a variety of venues to the LA Theatre Scene! From the Old Lounge Theatres to their current roster that has expanded to 4 locations with 12 different spaces!
Caissey Agtual - Assistant Venue Manager
Originally from Tucson, Arizona, Caissey has earned a BA in Theatre arts from the University of Arizona and a minor in Sociology. Like many Los Angeles transplants, she also has a strong customer service background in the hospitality industry, giving her a unique perspective on people and communication.
Her Theatre Planners journey began in April 2024 which has renewed her passion for creating positive experiences and building connections. Whether it be putting on a show or helping a customer, she brings creativity, empathy, and problem-solving skills to everything she does.
Salem Mitchell - Technical Director
Salem Mitchell is a professional Stage Electrician and AV Technician with experience in theater production and live events. Salem has taken on key roles such as Master Electrician for productions like Calypso, a Dine-In pop-up theater experience, the Little House on the Prairie 50th Anniversary Convention, and Reefer Madness: The Musical, where they also served as Master Electrician and part-time Technical Director.
In addition to freelance work, Salem is an On-Call AV Technician at the LGBTQ Center and The Soraya bringing technical support to various community events. Salem’s dedication to high-quality production and adaptability make them a reliable asset in the fast-paced world of theater and live performance.
Matt Richter - Technical Director
Matt has been active in the Los Angeles theatre community since moving here in 2003, after graduating from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a degree in Theatre. Since relocating to LA, I've been fortunate enough to work with a diverse range of companies, including Sacred Fools, Theatre of NOTE, the Elephant Theatre Company, Rogue Machine, the Echo, Son of Semele, Theatre 68, Open Fist, Action! Theatre Company, Theatre Planners, and more.
Matt is proud to have been able to sustain himself working in theatre, and he is unbelievably thankful. Los Angeles Theatre is too often dismissed, and Matt couldn't be prouder to be a part of such a wonderfully creative community.
